A school festival which is held in June. It has many highlight such as stage performances which whole school join, live by volunteers and opening video by student council.

| Do you know there is 'school festival' in senior high school? School festival is an event which everyone in school enjoys themselves. We call it 'Nishi Ko Sai.' It is held in June every year. Takayama Nishi Senior High School celebrates 50th anniversary last year. This year was a new beginning for the next 50 years, we inherited good points of Nishi Ko Sai so far, and improved points of improvement. So whole students worked together for 'New Nishi Ko Sai'. Each class decided by themselves what they would do in 'Nishi Festival' and performed in front of whole school. Our 'Bazaar' was great success thanks to lots of companies. There were many plans which we could enjoy ourselves. Thanks to teachers and whole school, Nishi Ko Sai succeeded with achievement and fulfillment. Through Nishi Ko Sai, let's strengthen bonds with your mates and become a part of 'Nishi Ko Family.' Let's build a wonderful Takayama Nishi Senior High School together! |  |

| Takayama Nishi Senior High School celebrates 50th anniversary in 2013, last year. I thought 50 years was an end, so I wanted to make a new year for the next 50 years and I challenged 'Nishi Ko Sai' with Shota Nakatani, a president of the school council. We decided a slogan of Nishi Ko Sai. It's 'A change - for the next 50 years.' Since we decided a slogan, we wanted to try new things to make first step for the next 50 years. We discussed with teachers and mates. We aimed to improve the quality of class performances by expanding the running time. However 'changing' was not easy. Teachers and mates gave their support and we could enter our key stage. Every class showed a more wonderful play than usual. I was nervous for the day, but once it started, it was so much fun and the time flew by. It was suitable for the first step and the best Nishi Ko Sai I've ever had. We could accomplish it because many people supported us. It's my asset in life. Thank you for your support. |
